Are you tired of being the last one picked for the Qudditch team? Are you a constant embarrassment to your House with no hope for the wizarding world? Or are you serious in your pursuit of knowledge in the realm of Charms? Well, no matter your reasoning, it seems you may have signed up for the right course. Intermediate Hexes & Jinxes is an elective course in Charms designed to educate students on jinxes and hexes, how to cast them, and how to counter them. Through learning and studying the spells involved, the students will tackle them from all sides and master them so they may be more prepared in defending against them. By gaining this mastery, it is the intent of the Professor to have the students gain a respect for these sometimes playful yet harmful facets of the Dark Arts.

The class will be taught informally, with practical exams as Professor Lannister sees fit. Written assignments on the reading will be required in order to confirm that the students have, indeed, been keeping up with the reading in the texts. The class will be made up of both lectures and practical application of the spells. Student participation and demonstration is greatly encouraged, especially in a practical learning environment such as this. The Professor is not afraid to call on others and embarrass them in front of their peers, however, so try not to fall too far behind.
